Welcome to the Northwest Council of Airshows website!

Whether you are an airshow performer, producer, or one of the dozens of service providers that contribute to airshows, our aim is to bring you all the resources and information that will help us have safe and successful airshows. We look forward to having our site become the “go to” location for all your airshow needs. Our board of directors welcomes input from you on how to develop and improve our offerings to our membership. We are here to serve the airshow community.

There are a lot of events competing for the entertainment dollar. NWCAS is committed to promoting airshows as one of the top spectator/sporting events now, and into the future. In order to accomplish this, shows have to provide an excellent combination of acts as well as a great “on ground” experience for all guests. Producers and performers need effective methods for acquiring sponsorship, marketing their services and ensuring sustainability. And of prime importance - everyone involved has to be aligned and committed to safety for every aspect of the show.

Our NWCAS conference in February each year brings together producers, performers, air bosses and announcers for a discussion of safety related issues and a sharing of safety Best Practices. Our program on Saturday connects our members with experts in many different aspects of airshow production and guest speakers delivering on a variety of aviation topics. Our performer’s showcase provides a great venue to promote your act with all the airshow producers in the region. Your attendance at the annual conference is a marvelous social and learning experience. Mark it on your calendar - we hope to see you there!
